Howard Diamant ACII

Howard Diamant has been involved in the insurance industry since the late Sixties. He commenced his career with the now Royal and Sun Alliance, where as an assistant claims manager his work involved the entire spectrum of commercial and personal lines.

In 1979 Howard Diamant made the move into loss adjusting and quickly joined a specialist firm of Entertainment Adjusters. Over the last twenty years he has become established as one of the leading names in general Contingency loss adjusting.

Howard set up his own adjusting practice in 1999 and brought together our team of specialist adjusters, which now comprises Focus International Loss Adjusters Ltd.

Today Howard Diamant is recognized internationally for his expertise in handling all types of Contingency loss but with a particular emphasis on Non-Appearance, Cancellation and Abandonment, Contract Bonus, Over-Redemption and Prize Indemnity. In respect of the latter two classes, he is the acknowledged market innovator from both the Risk Management and Loss Adjusting perspective.

Howard has sat on various panels to include the London Contingency Market and North American Contingency Association.

Marion Jones BA Hons ACII

Marion Jones began her insurance career in 1985.  She completed a three year graduate trainee placement at the now Royal and Sun Alliance, where she specialized in Liability claims before joining a firm of specialist Entertainment loss adjusters in 1988.  Her loss-adjusting career has encompassed all types of Contingency claims including Cancellation and Abandonment, Non-Appearance and Prize but with a particular emphasis on Film and Television. Marion made the move to Focus in 2001.

Marion is well known as one of the leading Entertainment loss adjusters in Europe.  Due to her years of experience in handling, in particular production losses, and her fluency in French and German, UK, European, Canadian and North American Insurers regularly appoint her.  Her portfolio of claims includes advertising, television, independent and studio feature film losses ranging from relatively straightforward weather day claims to major studio film losses for inter-alia AOL Time Warner and Twentieth Century Fox.

Recently Marion Jones was Keynote speaker at a Contingency conference in Paris.  Marion is a PACT (Producers Alliance for Cinema and TV) trainer, and has contributed to articles in the film industry publication, Screen magazine, on insurance industry related matters.

Linda Wylde BA Hons

Linda Wylde joined the industry in 1985 following her graduation in Modern Languages.  She began her career in the Claims Department of a Lloyd’s broking house. Following this she moved on to the placing of general Contingency and Jewellers Block insurance covers on both a direct and reinsurance basis, all of which proved an excellent grounding for loss adjusting and risk management in the Contingency arena.

Linda Wylde joined the Focus team in 1999, shortly after the company was first established. Since making the transition to loss adjusting, she has gained broad experience of all aspects of the Contingency market, both in the UK and overseas. She has earned a reputation in particular for her knowledge of Prize Indemnity, Over-Redemption and Cancellation/Non-Appearance risks.  Linda also has an increasing reputation within the promotional/marketing world, and is regularly consulted as an independent arbitrator/adviser.

Linda Wylde's proficiency in Spanish and local knowledge of Spanish territory has also led naturally to increasing appointments on Contingency claims arising both in Spain and Latin America.  However, Linda is also equally happy to handle claims and risk management projects requiring the skills of a proficient French speaker, and continues to travel extensively in the course of her appointments.
